We spent most of our January working on Integrated projects for the Open House
Grade 5 -- Family Trees
Grade 4 -- Israeli City Plates
Grade 1 -- Mitzvot Tiles
Grade 3 -- Paper Mache Synagogue Models
Grade 2 -- CeramicTzedakah Boxes
In January, we explored the Renaissance art .
Students made beautiful interpretations of such masterpieces as Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" (Gr5) and Sandro Botticelli's "Venus"(Gr4), as well as their very own still lifes (K), Selfportraits (Gr1), floral still lifes (Gr2) and horse paintings (gr3)

HAPPY CHANUKAH !
In November, we explored the art of the Middle Ages. Students painted beautiful castle landscapes, designed their own coats of arms, created illuminated initial letters, and even created their interpretations of medieval stained glass windows.
Thanksgiving Ceramics and Paintings
In October, all grade levels explored Ancient art and created their own beautiful interpretations of petroglyphs, cave paintings, Greek vases, Native American designs, Roman mosaics and ancient Egyptian wall paintings .
